Custom Aerospace Machine has taken delivery of a MAZAK 570 4th Axis machining center. This new unit is part of a CAM’S “Ramp Strategy” to keep aligned with L3HARRIS, F35/JSF program and its ever growing capacity requirements. This Vertical Machining Center has been purchased with In–Machine Probing, High Speed Machining Software, and a Massive 60 Tool Magazine in order to run multiple part numbers congruently during the production cycle without breaking down setups. Equipped with a Camel-Cart coolant recovery system, which adds to the machine operation efficiency, this unit is currently ready to produce the highest quality aerospace components for CAM’s future schedule demands.
