Custom Aerospace Machine has recently been approved as a supplier for Insitu Inc.
Insitu is a pioneer leader in the design, development, production and operation of high-performance, cost-effective unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). UAS aircraft are utilized in surveillance and reconnaissance, border patrol, coastal monitoring, anti-piracy missions to protect the free flow of international goods, environmental monitoring, search and rescue, disaster relief, and other missions that are too long, dull or dangerous for human pilots. Insitu is wholly owned by Boeing, the United States second largest military contractor.
Many large aerospace manufacturers have been seeking to approve CAM as a vendor of high precision, high volume machined parts and assemblies. Insitu has contracted CAM to machine parts for their ongoing production of high resolution reconnaissance UAV fleet.
