Custom Aerospace Machine has taken delivery of a NEW MAZAK VCU-500c Vertical Machining Center (VIDEO) which is now fully operational and producing parts for many high end CAM clients.
This acquisition was to enhance overall production levels of CAM and to update older equipment being transitioned out of service. This High Speed machining center is capable of machining parts as large as 41″x21″x17″. With its 12,000rpm Spindle and high resolution 0.00005″ motion encoders this machining center can produce highly accurate machined parts. CAM is dedicated to constant improvement in all areas of production, a business model that has a proven track record of success. This acquisition brings Custom Aerospace’s total 3 axis Machining Center inventory to seven units out of eleven CNC Machining centers and CNC Lathes currently being operated.
